Drink Water


It just may be the “magic potion” for weight loss and wellness. It not only suppresses appetite it helps the body to metabolize stored fat.  Studies show that an increase in water intake can actually reduce fat deposits while a decrease in water intake will cause fat deposits to increase.

When we drink water we reap some pretty cool benefits as well: Water helps with the function of the kidneys, aids in maintaining normal bowel function, keeps your skin looking healthy, helps control calories,  maintains a balance with body fluids, and fuels your muscles.

How much water do you need to be consuming daily?  It used to be  eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day. But that’s changed, experts say.

Now they say it depends on your size and weight, and also on your activity level. You should try to drink between half an ounce and an ounce of water for each pound you weigh, every day. For example, if you weigh 170 pounds, that would be 85 to 170 ounces of water a day.
